Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) by Entrust
VMCs allow you to display your brand logo next to the sender field in your users’ mailbox. As a result, email recipients will be able to see your logo even before they open the email, helping to effectively combat phishing.
ЗамовитиHow do Entrust VMCs work?
VMCs are based on the widely used Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) standard, which allows a verified logo to be displayed in an email. This helps to ensure the authenticity of email conversations.
You can get VMCs from Entrust as follows:
- Send your registered trademark logo. Your company logo must be registered with a trusted regional trademark office.
- Your sender domain must adhere to the Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC) standards. You will need a DMARC entry with "p=quarantine" or "p=reject".
- The CA performs high-assurance validation.
Note: Entrust does not accept registrations from all trademark offices. Only trademarks registered with trusted territorial offices are confirmed.
